What should we wear to our family photos?
Choose outfits that coordinate but don’t match exactly. Neutrals, soft tones, and earthy colours photograph beautifully and help keep the focus on your connection.Try to avoid logos and busy patterns if you can, and opt for flowy dresses or comfortable clothes that you feel great in.

Can we include grandparents or extended family?
Absolutely! I love capturing multi-generational memories. Extended Family Sessions allow extra time and include more comprehensive editing to make sure everyone looks their best.

Where will our family photography session be held in Maple Ridge or nearby?
We’ll choose a location together based on the look you’re going for. I know great spots in Maple Ridge and nearby that work well for families, or we can shoot in studio for a cozy, simple feel.

What if my kids don’t cooperate during the family session?
Totally normal—and no need to worry! I’ve worked with all kinds of kiddos (I have three boys myself!), and my sessions are all about keeping things fun and relaxed. Playful prompts, games, and a little patience go a long way. And if all else fails, I have a surprise bag of treats and bubbles! I’m always focused on capturing real smiles and genuine connection—not perfection.

How many photos do we get?
You’ll receive a curated online gallery of edited images. The session fee includes a set number of images, and you’ll have the option to purchase more if you love extras (which many families do!).

What if it rains?
I keep an eye on the weather and will reach out the day before if it looks iffy. We can reschedule or switch to a studio session if needed. I want you to have the best experience and the best light!

How long until we get our edited photo gallery?
Your full gallery will be ready within 3-4 weeks. I hand-edit each image to make sure every detail looks amazing.

Can we bring our dog or other pets to the family photoshoot?
Yes, your furry family members are welcome! Just let me know in advance so I can plan accordingly.

Do you offer prints or albums?
Absolutely! Your gallery is connected to a professional print lab, and I’m happy to help you choose prints or design an album that tells your family’s story.
